Objective

Great Northern Distillery approached us to elevate their brand presence through client testimonials and a modern website refresh. The primary goal was to enhance brand awareness, their process and drive sales for their bulk whiskey service, targeting both local and international markets.

We created a narrative where Whiskey enthusiasts and new brands looking to break the market, can envision what it would be like to work with Great Northern. It was key to showcase the age old innovation, legacy, scale of operation as well as a perspective from some of the successful Whiskey partners GND currently work with.

Mission Video & Legacy

The main goal with the mission video was to convey the influence John Teeling had on the Irish Whiskey Revolution, letting him speak about what he knows best to prove GND’s authority in the industry. With a mix of history, legacy and insights into the market, John told a very compelling story.

Testimonials from Partners

The testimonial videos served as another layer revealed in the GND story, the bonders and blenders who keep them busy. We interviewed GND’s clients in a very conversational style as they were not used to being on camera, this always works well for us and the videos speak for themselves. The trick is to be genuinely interested in learning more, forgot about the camera!

Website Development

To tie the new refreshing Great Northern brand together, we set out to create a website that delivers the same impact using all of the elements. The challenge was to mix legacy with innovation. 

We used the website to showcase the expert team, proven brand partners who vouch for the GND process and share the process they use to distill 80% of the Irish Whiskey on the market. Leveraging the brand assets we had made up until this point such as liquid loops, drone shots of the scale of the operation and of course the infamous harp became one with the dark background that made the website pop.
